Hobbs Heirloom Washable Wool is made from superwashed wool fiber. This batting is lightly needles and resin bonded to resist bearding.

The color is natural with a loft of approx 3/8" offering beautiful definition with quilting. Wool needles like butter by hand or machine. When quilted densely, wool lays totally flat offering a beautiful faux trupunto appearance.


Hobbs wool may be quilted up to 4" apart and is cold water washable after quilting. I recommend a cool dryer air fluff until just damp then layed out to finish drying.
